OBJECTIVE/
Ross Dress For Less is a bargain retail store located across the U.S. since, 1982 offering high quality brands for the best off-retail prices. The rebrand seeks for a modern, simple, friendly look and feel to attract more families and individuals that like to hunt great deals.
SOLUTION/
The brand’s new aesthetics is youthful and neat to approach a modern and simplistic design. The original brand name, ross dress for less was shortened to ross because there’s more than clothes. The azure blue color from the original brand was switched to a darker shade, more cerulean blue color to represent high quality and evoke trust in costumers. The Gilroy typeface is a modern sans serif with geometric finishes and was chosen because of its friendliness and clean lines. Gilroy is great for any display and was used throughout the brand logo, signage, and copy. The imagery of the rebrand is happy and diverse with soft and neutral color backgrounds.
